Q

Just a big thank you for your inspiring words, as I am now struggling with an illness and find it so comforting!

Derron E Short responded on 12/03/2016
A

Thank you. This year has been a challenge for my wife and I as well. We have spent much of it in the hospital but God is always faithful. Mush of my writings have been on my laptop in a hospital beside her so I understand where you are. Continue to trust in God.

Q

Good morning, when reading or studying the Word do you always read out loud or silently? Is it better to read out loud?

Derron E Short responded on 12/03/2016
A

It depends on the person. I am a silent reader. It really does not matter whether you read in silence or out loud as long as you live the word of God out loud for all to see.

Q

How do I remain a faithful and connected daughter and follower of Christ? Egg

Derron E Short responded on 12/03/2016
A

This can be done by continuing to grow in the word of God. We must study, fast, pray, speak, and apply the word. As long as we are moving in that direction God is pleased. This is called living by faith and without faith it is impossible to please God.
